On March 20 of this year, the day we went in for my immigration interview, two things happened. The first was that I forgot our passports at home on the kitchen table. I had a folder that contained documents that we needed to bring with us to share with our attorney, relationship proof (greeting cards, photos, etc.) sitting on top of that, and as the cherry on the immigration proof pile, our passports.

Immigration Fun, Writing, and 2012 Blog Plans
Well, 2012 is here and I’d been meaning to try and keep up a little more with postings at least once a week, but it’s been difficult with all the other things going on. Finally my paperwork to become a Permanent Resident of the USA so that my husband and I can continue to live together has been submitted.
